Support Mechanical Engineering at Rice!
Alumni of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Rice are scattered around the globe, working as mechanical engineers and educators, as public servants in government positions, for non-profits and for venture capital firms. Their professions are widely varied but they have a common mission: to improve the human condition. And they have common roots in the George R. Brown School of Engineering, which gives them a connection to today’s mechanical engineering students at Rice.
These students are benefiting from improved lab spaces, design project sponsorships and mentoring and networking interactions with our alumni. We invite you to get involved. Send email to firstname.lastname@example.org
. Or see below to find out how you can make a gift that will directly benefit our students.
The Rice Engineering Alumni organization sponsors events throughout the year, funds design teams in the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen, and supports the School of Engineering through the dean's office, departments in the school and student clubs. See the REA web
page for ways that you can get involved.
