Mechanical engineering at Rice rose one place 28th among the nation’s top graduate programs in the 2021 U.S. News and World Report ranking.
This marks the third year in a row in which Rice’s mechanical engineering program has placed in the top 30 in the category of “Best Graduate Schools (Engineering, Mechanical).”
The annual assessment is based on evaluations by faculty at peer engineering schools.
